MIKI FIKI BRANDING

I was able to work on a project for my dear friend and musician Ted Hartog, who launched his new musical endeavor Miki Fiki. Together we were able to come up with a concept behind his new songs and I fully branded it for his big album release. I designed an album cover, took photographs that I then manipulated to fit the brand, and created a logo. Because there were so many different pieces to this project, it was an exciting challenge to create. There was a lot of brainstorming and conceptualizing in the beginning, as well as countless drafts that I will include below to show how this project moved to its final stages.

FINAL vs. VARIOUS DRAFTS + OTHER OPTIONS

When creating something like an album cover for a client, I like to work with their vision and bring it to life in multiple ways in the beginning stages of creation. The final version, which utilized a 3D element as well as a less saturated palette, only came to fruition after working through various other options and logos with the client. You can see some of the other directions we almost took the design below.
